I imagine this character is a scientist working at a facility you really DON’T want to hear the alarms in. She also has white hair from the stress, if that’s any indication.
Like redraw 10 & 13, I wanted to do this with just black, white and red, and also the next one after 11 to have a speech bubble (even if you have to imagine the swear word)
Again, I was trying to draw short hair while still keeping her feminine (not sure if it worked or not) and while I was doing cel shading again, this time I tried something I’d not done much. The light source is coming from behind her instead of in front (like I usually do), and I even tried to get the red light bounce back in the shadows but especially her eyes. I did most of my previous drawings with a brush that changed width depending on the pressure applied, but this time I used a brush which didn’t. It made me really think about shape and silhouette as well as how much detail to add to fabric creases.
The background was relatively low effort, but the heart beat is to indicate she’s panicked and the ‘whrooo’ is the siren sound effect (I don’t know how to spell such onomatopoeia).
Bit more of a cartoon style, and I like it.
